About: I have been in prone, specifically, for four years now. I continue to keep participating and competing in prone paddling because I love spending time in and around our precious ocean.
I got into prone paddling through my background in surf lifesaving. My coach found another opportunity that provided a new challenge and adventure that would assist in spending more time with the ocean.
Prone Paddling has given me an opportunity to travel the world competing in international events and fighting for World Champion status. I am always driving to succeed and do the best I can in any given situation.
Winning the 18km Prone Distance race at the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard World Championships in Fiji has been my biggest achievement so far.
I have recently graduated with a Bachelor in Business Management at the University of Waikato. I am now pursuing a career in the banking industry.
I enjoy exploring and discovering new places in New Zealand and the rest of the world.
I am looking forward to representing my country competing in Denmark. Although the weather might not be as tropical, Denmark will be a unique opportunity for me, especially the distance races in Copenhagen.
